Pas tuduh kementerian Pertahanan jadi "lubuk emas"UMNO

hai, bila dah bersara pandai lak kata macam-macam.

Orang kata jangan "over confidence" takut nant Pakatan yang gigit jari. Amin.

Kit Siang `storms' into Johor

DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang "stormed" into Johore on Saturday promising that DAP would complete its "unfinished" political tsunami in the state.
Although nomination and polling dates are still to be announced, DAP began its offensive with several ceramah in the state.
Lim, who announced his candidacy in Gelang Patah two weeks ago, made his presence felt at a string of events in various districts. In Taman Indah in Pontian, the threat of a thunderstorm did not deter 600 people from attending Lim's presentation at a ceramah with local Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders.
Speaking in both Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, Lim emphasised change, saying: "We will bring the unfinished political tsunami that occurred in 2008 to Johor,"
He said Barisan Nasional was unable to adapt to a changing political climate and would maintain race-based policies if they continued to govern.
The mixed crowd of Chinese and Malays applauded his statements.
His rumoured battle with Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman in Gelang Patah also brought much attention.
"I have never challenged Abdul Ghani but if he is contesting, then it will be a tough fight," Lim said.
"I will continue to fight for this seat."
The ceramah was disrupted when a group of motorcyclists started revving their engines midway into Lim's speech until they were booed by the crowd.
Pontian is an Umno stronghold, formerly held by its information chief, Datuk Ahmad Maslan, who won the seat in 2008 with a 14,444 majority.
Lim also introduced election candidate Mahdzir Ibrahim who will be contesting in Tanjong Piai under DAP's banner.
Meanwhile, Lim's appearance later at Taman Molek drew a crowd of some 2,000 people.
The audience cheered as Lim repeated promises made at Pontian and the need for PR to take over the federal administration.

Don't take support for granted: Muhyiddin

Do not take voter support for granted, and always remember that voters are the "kings" in a general election.
That was the message from Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to grassroots leaders at the launch of the Barisan Nasional (BN) Batu parliamentary seat command centre here today.
"Work hard. Don't think the fight will be easy. Some may say the people are beginning to see, understand and appreciate the contributions of the BN government with things such as Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia, which show the government's efforts to protect the welfare of the people.
"But we cannot assume that all will be smooth sailing, because in this general election the voters are the kings," he said.
He said voters can do anything they want, as the democratic system enables them to vote as they please.
"Nobody can force them to vote, they decide everything," he added.
Muhyiddin also told some 300 grassroots leaders that a spirit of camaraderie is more important than ever in the run-up to the polls.
He said Barisan Nasional (BN) can recapture the Batu seat if there is hard work and determination by all leaders and members.
He also expressed confidence that the BN government is strong, and enjoys the people's support.
"There have been reports that opposition parties intend to cause trouble on the polling day," he claimed.
"But why would they do so if not because they are scared that the people have returned to BN, and that BN is strong?" he said to loud cheers.
On the Barisan manifesto launched by BN and Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak on Saturday, Muhyiddin said it is a clear choice for the people, between two manifestos.
"The people can compare which manifesto can be trusted, which one can be fulfilled and they will see that it is BN's manifesto," he said.
