DAP reps do not work, says CM

Voters in Malacca, especially in opposition areas, are bored with DAP representatives who do not work to solve the people's problem, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.
He said the opposition representatives were only keen on blaming the Barisan Nasional government without working as hard as they could to help the people in their areas.
As an example, Mohd Ali said apartment residents in the Kota Laksamana constituency had been burdened with various problems, including water supply.
“They (the Opposition) have been elected in Kota Laksamana for 45 years and the apartment residents have been experiencing brown-coloured water supply, but they have not taken any action to solve this.
“The problem was solved by the Barisan, proving that the DAP representatives are not relevant because they do not work,” he said after attending a Chinese New Year open house hosted by the state PPP here.
Also present were Mohd Ali's wife Datin Seri Asmah Abdul Rahman, PPPpresident Datuk Seri M. Kayveas and Malacca PPP chairman Datuk Chiw Tiang Chai. - Bernama
