PR to continue 1Malaysia products

GEORGE TOWN (April 22, 2013): Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will continue with the 1Malaysia products initiative if the coalition wins the next general election.
DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said this in reply to Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's challenge to the former Penang chief minister.
Lim said PR will definitely implement all programmes that will benefit the people in the country if it comes to power.

"I was stunned when he (Muhyiddin) showed his 'interest' in me," he said, referring to Muhyiddin who wanted him to clarify if PR would continue implementing 1Malaysia programmes. Lim was speaking to reporters after a walkabout at Jalan Patani market yesterday morning, accompanied by Sungai Pinang candidate Lim Siew Khim, Jelutong incumbent Jeff Ooi, Batu Lanchang incumbent Danny Law Heng Kiang and Datuk Keramat incumbent Jagdeep Singh Deo.
Muhyiddin had earlier dared Lim and PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli to abolish more than 200 1Malaysia products introduced by Barisan Nasional (BN) should they win the election. Rafizi had made a statement that if the Opposition wins the polls, it would abolish BR1M. Lim, however, said PR will use different methods to continue all the people-oriented programmes.
Ye lah tue, boleh ke janji PR ni dipegang??
