Fewer than three months after resigning from Perak DAP, Amani William-Hunt Abdullah has applied to join Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
The announcement was made by PKR vice-president Dr Lee Boon Chye during its Perak branch meeting last Friday.
PKR sources said the news was well received by Pas but had caught Perak DAP off-guard.
Pas' Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said the Chenderiang seat, which is being eyed by PKR and DAP, would not be a problem now.
